Stat Of The Week: Did Trump Make Lawyers Less Popular? 

Starting at the end of 2020, we polled Above the Law readers on how they believed the legal profession performed amid the upheaval of the year. 

Among the stats that stood out: When asked about the effects of Trump administration lawyers on how the legal profession is perceived, a sizable majority said its reputation was harmed “greatly.” 

“How do you think the actions of lawyers in the Trump administration have affected the general perception of the legal profession?” 

The survey received more than 150 responses from Above the Law readers in December and January, addressing varied topics. Stay tuned for more.
